Stephan Crawford - Desde Mar Y Tierra
(sculpture
26'' x 6'' x 4''
Statement:
Stephan Crawford is an interdisciplinary artist based in San Francisco, California. His work defies any single stylistic classification, and includes sculpture, mixed-media, and painting. Crawford’s art explores nodal points of intersection or branching that open the opportunity for new insight into our world and our place in it. This might relate to something as apparently simple as the interface between the land and the sea, or as apparently impenetrable as the duality of the physical and the metaphysical. These points may be readily found where apparently dissimilar spaces, disciplines or ideas collide, such as, broadly, science and art. As part of his studio practice, Crawford founded and co-leads The ClimateMusic Project, a cross-cutting collaborative that connects people to climate science and action through music. Since launching in 2015, ClimateMusic.org has reached thousands of people globally, partnering on programs with leading institutions such as The National Academy of Sciences and The World Bank. It has also garnered international media coverage, including profiles by The New York Times and the BBC. In 2019 Yamaha profiled Crawford for its Inspired series. Please visit www.sc2arts.com
Rosemari Berger - Erleuchtung
(fine art on aludibond)
70 x 70 cm
Statement:
Digital photography - associative sceneries / Photo art on topics that touch and inspire... Rosemarie Berger worked as a designer in the media sector and, among other things, managed the entire photo planning of an extensive work area in the mail order business for many years, certainly one of the foundations of her further development. She started working as a photo artist in 2008 and has since shown her pictures successfully at national and international exhibitions. Thoughts and emotions become visible in Rosemarie Berger's pictures. What is important to her is the special detail, excerpts removed from the whole, she only allows herself natural light. She does the artistic processing of the pictures on the computer, which can be understood as if a painter applied several layers of paint with a brush and then partially removed it again, perhaps comparable to a (digital) collage.
